The Strategy and Technology Group (STG) is a new initiative within Aon to deliver innovative consulting and technology solutions to its clients. This is a great opportunity to join a growing group and to work with a highly skilled, collaborative team of actuarial and software experts who are using the latest technology to deliver next generation products for insurance markets.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:
Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working on developing our core product by writing code, testing, analysing, specifying, reviewing and all other activities that form part of the software development lifecycle.
Working with other Developers, QAs, BAs and corresponding leads to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software
Engaging in all scrum ceremonies
Supporting and mentoring other team members
Contributing to process and quality improvement discussions
Providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders
Supporting and potentially leading product deployments
Engaging in ongoing professional development
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
6+ years of experience in all aspects of .Net full stack engineering [Sr Developer [lead] positionacross front, middle and back office capabilities
Agile Development
Strong Analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Angular (14+) with TypeScript (or similar modern UI framework)
HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS
Full stack C# Web development
Web API 2
.NET Core 6
- SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL, stored procedures)
SOLID Principles
Git with GitFlow, Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
