Oracle Principal Member of Technical Staff - Oracle Blockchain Platform Product Development in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Are you passionate about the blockchain technology and its potential to change the industry landscape? Oracle Blockchain Platform is an enterprise-grade, pre-assembled blockchain-as-a-service platform, ready for blockchain application development and deployment in Oracle Cloud and Multicloud infrastructures. As Principal Member of Technical Staff in the Oracle Blockchain Platform development team, you will own one or more components of the platform and work with product managers and architects to create functional specs/design documents for new requirements, implement new features, triage issues in production environments, come up with resolution to unblock customers, identify root cause of the issue, provide a fix for some issues and more. You will be expected to work with multiple programming languages, use open source solutions and Oracle technologies in an agile and collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software design and development experience.

  • Experience in developing features for highly complex, distributed transaction processing systems.

  • Should be able to demonstrate experience with multiple programming languages, such as Java, Go or Node.JS, Solidity and with scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, shell, etc.

  • Strong understanding of server virtualization technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

  • Understanding of public cloud infrastructures, especially as it relates to networking and security.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes in a cloud environment

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working in highly distributed team settings.

  • Sense of ownership, passion to build, support and maintain quality products for massive scale in collaborative, agile environment and excitement to learn.

  • BS/BE/BTech in Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS/ME/MTech in Computer Science

  • Understanding of blockchain technology and its applications in fintech.

  • Experience developing a blockchain platform either in open source setting or commercially.

  • Experience with building and production-grade deployments of Enterprise Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, and similar permissioned blockchain networks.

  • Familiarity with Web3 JSON RPC protocols and wallet integrations

  • Strong Understanding of security technologies: PKI, Cryptography, Identity Management, Confidential Payments, ZK-Rollups.

  • Understanding of databases, storage and distributed persistence technologies.

You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
