Google Senior Technical Program Manager, Cloud Application Ecosystem in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in internal or external customer-facing role driving technical implementation programs.

  • Knowledge of operating systems, security, and networking.

  • Ability to define, generate, and maintain metrics to monitor the progress of the organization.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

  • Drive quarterly planning of a portfolio of products, aligning portfolio priorities with engineering/product leads for OKRs.

  • Manage programs by breaking down projects with well-defined milestones and deliverables.

  • Work across a number of teams from engineering, product, SRE, and go-to-market to manage ongoing deliverables/product launches.

  • Drive meetings with cross-project leads to address risks, prioritize work, untangle teams, and send organization wide program status reports and newsletters.

  • Identify, establish, and improve processes to increase team efficiency and execution across sprinting, backlog grooming, launch management, support reviews, and more.
