AT&T Specialist Network Technology Support in Bengaluru, India

Job Description:

Summary:

Serves as primary support of network operations by managing AT&T core and mobility infrastructure end-to-end services, identifying sources of problems, and resolving configuration issues and change management. Monitor elements, fault identification and management, performance reporting. Responds to and may implement client requests and notifies them of network problems and the impact on customer's business. Acts on client's behalf in handling network problems and changes. Provide midlevel technical support, as a core network engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work for IT and telecommunications companies.

Work Content & Responsibilities:

  • Operations role to support the network devices with Accountability of AT&T Core Network Infrastructure globally

  • Day to day Monitoring, troubleshooting, response to service incidents within AT&T's network infrastructure

  • Utilize alarm monitoring diagnostic tools to identify, diagnose, systematically isolate faults & correct network service conditions

  • Interfaces with other internal technical support centers on cross-architecture network troubleshooting

  • Effectively communicate, both verbal and written, across multiple AT&T organizations

  • Remotely coordinate with network equipment vendors, Onsite tech and Service Providers to resolve the network fault

  • Own problem/assignment through to resolution/completion and ensure closure

  • Ensure escalation as part of fault resolution

  • Implement medium complexity change activity

  • Interface with US/Europe internal teams for the above activities and source help as needed

Requirements include:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • CCNA, JNCIA certification is preferred

  • Working knowledge in Internetworking, IP routing protocol, WAN troubleshooting and performance management for IP VPN based networks

  • Experience in the deployment, on-going administration and troubleshooting all aspects of Cisco, Juniper, range of Internetworking devices (Routers, LAN/WAN Switches, Load Balancers, QoS)

  • Knowledge of networking protocols and topologies

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Ability to communicate and document effectively

-Ability to adjust and learn to changing technology/environment is an advantage

  • Experience in AT&T Tools like AOTS, BMP in an advantage

The selected candidate is required to work rotating shifts to support global customers
