As part of the Fleet Solutions team, this role will have functional responsibilities of the Imaging 360 software team including hiring, performance management, and ensuring that delivery commitment as well as strategic goals are met.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Imaging Fleet Solutions software team as a functional leader.

  • Hire the best talent to support the roadmap, drive the solid execution control to achieve the planned releases with great quality and reliable software and groom the team members for their professional growth

  • Own the performance management and prioritization for all the team members and help them achieve at their highest potential

  • Innovatively utilize the budget to drive team goals

  • Typically a 1st line manager of professionals. Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

  • Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Math or related field

Required Qualifications:

  • This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Software Engineering.

  • 15+ years of overall experience and specifically 3+ years of experience in leading software teams as a functional leader.

  • Hands on experience in software development in the healthcare domain.

  • Has ability to design, code and influence the design of complex software projects in the SAFe / agile environment for multiple scrum teams

  • Has experience in managing multiple stake holders globally.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of internal organization

  • Foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, leverage resources, rally teammates.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and/or lead blended teams, including 3rd party partners and customer personnel.

  • Demonstrated Change Management /Acceleration capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity with ability to effectively communicate and influence across all organizational levels

  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills

  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other Information Technology (IT) teams and leadership
