Amazon Sr Program Manager, Easy Ship in Bengaluru, India

Description

The World Wide Easy Ship Program team is looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Program Manager with experience in e-commerce fulfillment. The role will be responsible for expanding and scaling Amazon’s best in class fulfillment solutions to improve Customer and Selling Partner experience across WW Stores.

This highly visible, strategic role requires the ability to earn trust, influence cross-functional stakeholders without authority, and operate with a high degree of ambiguity to translate program strategies into tangible outcomes. The individual in this role will collaborate across a cross-functional teams of program, product, tech, Operations, BI, Accounting and Legal stakeholders to plan, execute, validate, and deploy complex capabilities across International Stores.

The ideal candidate will obsess over selling partners/customers and have a proven track record of delivering results while managing high level of complexity. Successful candidates will have experience with Program Management in a broad, global organization, have experience working with a variety of cross-organizational stakeholders, and be able to juggle competing priorities. This candidate must have crisp communication skills, and have experience communicating project status and updates across a global audience. Ability to navigate ambiguous programs, influence without authority, and a high bias for action are critical for success in this role. This role will involve working with partner teams across time-zones

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and scale world-class fulfillment solutions across international Stores

  • Gain trust, manage relationships and align global stakeholders on program strategies, objectives, and deliverables

  • Establish clear goals, metrics, and processes to track global program progress and outcomes

  • Identify and mitigate program-level risks that could impact worldwide delivery

  • Develop, implement and automate new and existing processes in a standardized and scalable format, while leverage global resources to drive improvement based on local needs whenever possible

  • Provide compelling program updates and act as the central point of contact for worldwide matters

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among internationally distributed teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with a track record of delivering global initiatives

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional, international teams

  • Proficient in program planning, risk management, and process improvement methodologies

  • Demonstrated experience working with geographically distributed teams and coordinating complex global projects

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities

  • Strong narrative writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGPM or other relevant program management certification

  • Experience in a multi-cultural, matrixed organizational environment

  • Familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools

  • Understanding of change management principles and techniques

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

    • 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with a track record of delivering global initiatives
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional, international teams
    • Proficient in program planning, risk management, and process improvement methodologies
    • Demonstrated experience working with geographically distributed teams and coordinating complex global projects
    • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution abilities
    • Strong narrative writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
