Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. Partners with functional owner to define requirements. Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Interact with internal and/or external customers and product managers to understand customer needs and deadlines
Collaborate with and support development and operations teams taking into account project scope and requirements
Demonstrate an understanding of project management
Have in-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle to collaborate with diverse teams
Ensure releases meet quality standards and functional requirements
Collaborate with other team members and provide specialized expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after deployment of the project to production
Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership to define requirements
Oversee technology discussions and strategy as needed
Define the execution plan and approach based on the project scope, planned schedule and available budget/resources
Facilitate the convergence of functional and technical knowledge and build project teams
Manage external suppliers as needed
Ensure that predefined project management processes and practices are followed. Promote simplification and improvement where necessary
Support the execution team in resolving obstacles and interdependencies. Collaborate with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as needed
Manage project risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
Ensure that the quality of deliverables is verified and meets stakeholder expectations
Track the achievement of project results and customer satisfaction levels through established service level metrics. Ensure lessons learned are captured
Education Qualification and Experience
Engineering degree or Master's degree, with minimum 12+ years of experience in Program/Project Management
Proven overall industry experience, with at least 12+ years in software program/project management role
PMP or related Project Management certifications
Experience with AGILE methodology
Demonstrated execution to achieve project objectives while meeting quality, performance, schedule and budget criteria
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering, program management and operational planning processes, experience with the full product lifecycle from conception to end of useful life
Demonstrated understanding/experience of the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle and cross-functional interdependencies
Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA and other regulatory standards
