Admissions CounselorBennington CollegeJob Type: | Full timeLocation: Bennington, Vermont, United StatesBennington College, a liberal arts college distinguished for its pioneering initiatives in higher education, has two positions open for an Admissions Counselor to join a creative team of professionals committed to making the college admissions process a powerful introduction to the values of an uncompromising education.The Admissions Counselor will be joining Bennington at a time of significant growth and success, representing the College to individuals and groups on and off campus and assuming central responsibility for designing and managing the recruitment, admission, and cultivation activities for a specific geographic region. The Admissions Counselor develops relationships with prospective students, high school guidance counselors, teachers, schools, and community-based organizations, and evaluates applications from the region. The position entails 6-10 weeks of travel in a typical year. The Admissions Counselor will collaborate with other members of the admissions staff to support administrative systems which may include: training, events, communications, and/or other areas based on the interests and strengths of the successful candidate.
