Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a role for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the heart of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. This role is fundamental to our operations, as you will be working closely with sales representatives and customer service teams to ensure smooth financial transactions and maintain excellent customer relationships. Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts and manage incoming payments

• Verify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts receivable data including cash, checks, credit card, ACH, and transfers

• Verify and resolve discrepancies or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries

• Respond to and resolve clients' billing issues and questions

• Prepare and manage invoices, including printing, mailing, and bank deposits

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger

• Process and verify weekly invoices sent to various companies for funding

• Ensure accurate posting of all payments

• Assist in preparing monthly statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

• Assist in the approval process of daily shipments

• Handle Employee Purchases in accordance with our Employee Purchase Program

• Use Microsoft Excel to track and manage data and account reconciliation

• Use your skills in commercial collections to manage and maintain accounts receivable Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar financial role.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and commercial collections.

• Extensive knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data management and financial calculations.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred but not required.
