As the Logistics Area Manager, you will be accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources, and management of inbound and outbound logistical operations. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with internal or external partners where formal authority is not held in our Benson facility Responsibilities Responsible for controlling and scheduling the flow of goods, information, and resources from goods-in and production to distribution Responsible for material procurement, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials, goods-in process, inventory management, and distribution of finished goods Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels Administers an effective system that meets the organization's inventory control needs through efficient transportation of raw materials, component parts and/or finished goods Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of commitments The annual salary for this role is $93,000 - $142,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) Qualifications The qualified candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Operations 10 or more years of logistics engineering and or/logistics management experience in a manufacturing environment 2 or more years of experience in Supervisory or Management position The ideal candidate will have: Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma/World Class Manufacturing experience is a must Excellent knowledge of company forms for registration of goods inbound and outbound Organizational capacity and analysis, order, precision, practical sense, authority, openness to innovation, flexibility, ability to mediate and motivate staff Team working attitudes knowledge about administrative and tax procedures related to shipments Good working knowledge of statistics accounting programs Company Benefits CNH Industrial offers a wide variety of benefits that not only encourages wellness and preventive care, but we also provide the right tools and programs to help you achieve it.
