Walmart Senior Manager, Operations - Last Mile Strategy & Planning in Bentonville, Arkansas

What you'll do...

In today's fast-paced world, the expectation for rapid delivery to customers' homes has revolutionized the way businesses operate, transforming convenience into a necessity. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Last Mile team based in Bentonville. This position will play a crucial role in shaping and driving the strategy for customer delivery initiatives, directly impacting the way we meet the modern demand for rapid home delivery and transforming our customer experience!

How will you contribute to the success of our team?

  • Develop and implement strategies for customer delivery acceleration.

  • Leverage various dashboards and analytical resources to extract and utilize data effectively.

  • Design and deploy metrics in partnership with business and analytics teams.

  • Connect dots across a wide portfolio of initiatives to ensure cohesive strategy execution.

  • Facilitate conversations and discussions with senior leaders and peers, surfacing the right information to solve complex problems.

  • Write and present complex ideas in a clear and compelling way using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools.

What makes you a strong candidate?

  • Experienced Leader: Proven experience in a senior management role (direct reports not required).

  • Analytical Skills: Comfort with data and strong analytical skills. Ideally, a power user of dashboards and other analytical tools.

  • Strategic Development: Experience in developing strategies and connecting dots across multiple initiatives.

  • Relevant Experience: Background in ecommerce, delivery, store operations, or supply chain is a plus.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 3 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area. 1 year's supervisory experience.
