The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Plant Engineer (m/f/*) for Grassobbio and Marcallo Plants, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads Mechanical Integrity Program and Engineering support on Plant activities

• Implements Mechanical Integrity, Vessel control coordination, Piping and Infrastructure

• Determines optimization and support in Engineering projects ongoing and in Planned maintenance activities (for both Building infrastructure and Equipments) to drive improvement in Operations

• Supports Manufacturing, EHS, IT and Engineering departments

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution preferably on Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

• Basic skills in quality testing, piping, mechanical and electrical drawing understanding, CAD, metallurgy

• Good knowledge of English language

• Knowledge of EHS principles

• Team working abilities

• Problem solving and proactivity

• Results oriented

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Project management capabilities

• Time and priority management, handling different activities in parallel

• SAP knowledge

• Non Destructive controls

• Energy Management, Sustainability improvements

Location:

• Grassobbio and Marcallo plants located in Bergamo and Milan West area respectively

• The role is mostly Office based and on field but is eligible to “Work Your Way” (smartworking program)

Travel: May include regular weekly domestic travel between Plant in planned day on the week and on demand depending on the needs and project prioritizations
