What part will you play?

In your new role you:

  • Provide accurate and timely technical solutions to address customer queries related to protection devices.

  • Coordinate and support the activities of case managers for protection product.

  • Monitor and track key customer issues globally and collaborating with other Global Customer Care hubs.

  • Achieve performance targets and analyze business KPIs.

  • Initiate corrective actions for continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the first contact point for escalations from customer and internal stakeholders like R&D, sales, and Product Lifecycle managers.

  • Conduct information and best practice sharing amongst Global Customer Care members.

  • Lead the training and development path of the customer care team in terms of technical expertise and customer service soft skills.

  • Perform preliminary root cause analysis and provide relevant information to stakeholders

  • Represent the Global Customer Care in protection product related discussions.

  • Explore AI technologies and digitalization for efficiently solving customer problems and enabling customer self-service.

  • Support Global Customer Care to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Report to the head of Global Customer Care for Protection and Automation, Germany.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • The basis of your success is a completed bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.

  • You possess a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, power systems and protection schemes.

  • Your extensive long-term professional background includes configuration, testing and commissioning of protection devices.

  • You demonstrate experience in communication of protection devices via standard protocols as IEC 61850, including process bus technology.

  • Familiarity with software programming (such as Python, C++, XML, and Visual Studio Code) and knowledge of Gen AI would be advantageous.

  • You demonstrate skills to lead teams locally and globally.

  • You have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, a convincing manner, and a winning personality.

  • You are prepared to take on responsibility and address topics independently as well as reliably driving them forward and adapt to change.

  • You have deep problem-solving skills with high attention to details.

  • The ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and backgrounds, is key to your success.

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and German rounds off your profile.
