Adecco is currently hiring for a LEAD Forming Operator role for our client that has an award-winning reputation in Thermoforming Solutions in Berthoud, Colorado. As a Lead Fabrication (Fab) Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication process in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of fabrication operators to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Monitor the fabrication process to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement corrective actions as necessary to address any deviations.
Provide training and guidance to fabrication operators to enhance their skills and knowledge of fabrication techniques and equipment operation.
Operate forming machinery to process products, including cutting, deburring, sanding, cleaning, and packaging.
Follow Process Instructions to maintain process and quality standards.
Load and unload mold forming fixtures and parts with assistance from Material Handlers and forklifts.
Utilize tools such as routers and band saws for trimming parts.
Maintain a clean workstation and perform general maintenance tasks.
Use precision measuring tools like calipers, height gauges, and micrometers accurately.
Record production information for monitoring and reporting purposes.
Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:
Leadership experience
Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal.
Basic computer skills for data entry.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
Experience in a manufacturing or production setting preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Involves frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and balancing.
Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Climbing in and out of machinery pits for repairs or adjustments.
Utilization of eye-hand coordination and verbal communication.
Visual capacity enabling operation of machinery.

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
