Tool Design Engineer
Job Description:
The Tool Design Engineer will lead the design and development of tooling, fixtures, and production equipment necessary for the manufacturing of aerospace composite components. This includes selecting appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to meet specific aerospace industry standards. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions for tooling and fixtures. Identify and address production challenges, implementing effective solutions to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality aerospace components.
Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in tooling and fixture design
7+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
Master's Degree preferred
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards, materials, and processes
Proficient in CAD
Exposure to composite materials and processes such as carbon fiber, resins, curing methods, etc. is a plus
Experience Level:

This is a contract position with the duration of 6 months.

This is an onsite position in Bertram, Texas.
