Philips Innovation Center Eindhoven (PIC-E) is the global heart of our innovation engine, with locations in Best (PIC-E North) and Eindhoven (PIC-E South), and the largest of our four global innovation hubs.
By driving change management and internal communications you can help us to further enhance the internal cross-functional collaboration within the Philips Innovation Center North and the company as a whole. The development of new, creative communications initiatives and formats, as part of optimizing our existing communication activities and ecosystem (tools & channels), is greatly encouraged.

To help unlock the full potential of Philips Innovation Center Eindhoven North (PIC-E North) through impactful communications initiatives and support for people leaders.

Support HR in creating a cross-collaboration and enterprise mindset culture, by rolling out a people engagement program and sharing best practices across teams. This should result into creating the ONE PIC-E North TEAM feeling and perception, which will break down existing silo thinking & behaviors.
Co-creating and implementing the strategic internal communications plan for PIC-E North, in line with the PIC-E Brand and Communications team to position PIC-E North as a vibrant community of international talents, who are busy everyday improving the lives of people around the world through meaningful innovation.
Setting up, together with the PIC-E North leadership, a process to proactively receive content from within the PIC-E North business units and create stories and events which help to position PIC-E North as a vibrant community, innovative and talent attractive place to work.
Creating (local relevant) content for newscast, Intranet, PIC-E North newsletter, local Yammer community etc., and stimulating participation of employees and stakeholders on internal social media leading a hands-on structured planning & rollout to ensure a perfect execution of internal and external communications plans
Working in close collaboration with program team, PIC-E North site management, Netherlands Communications team and other key stakeholders to execute the plan.
Actively participating in the Site Crisis Communications team, responsible for organizing communication with National Crisis Management Team in case of crisis. Responsible for creating and updating of local crisis communication playbook.
To support the Program lead and HR manager in rolling out the Case for Change strategy by enabling people leaders to lead and drive the desired change in line with the Philips Change Practice methodology.
Provide necessary training for people leaders on change management using the Philips Change Practice training portfolio
Support the Program leader to set up an active change champions network and activate their influencing powers to create understanding, commitment and a movement providing tools, training and communications support
Co-creating and implementing the change management & communications plan to help land the change strategy amongst all PIC-E North employees and internal stakeholders.
Teaming-up with local change agents to agree on the change and communication plan execution, and how the Change Champions will be activated.
Driving change management in line with the Philips Change Management methodology and developing ideas on how to best engage our employees as they are a vital part to making the change in PIC-E North happen.
Keeping the Program team informed on the progress of how employees are accepting and committing to the change (using measurement tools) and providing guidance in addressing potential barriers.
Actively participating and sharing knowledge within the Change Management Community Practice
You are a part of
The program team dedicated to developing the Philips Innovation Center Eindhoven - North, to unleash its full potential. You will report into the Program leader and work closely with different stakeholders across businesses, markets, functions, and factories located in Best.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field
6-10 years working in change management, organizational development, and transformation programs
Preferably more than 5 years' relevant experience in (internal and external) communications or a communications-related role in a complex organization, including experience of working with, or for, media outlets
Excellent stakeholder management skills in a highly complex matrixed organizational structure - work with stakeholders at all levels
Great creative communication skills, fluent in English and Dutch
Experience in converting complex communication issues into concrete strategic communication plans
Experience in making results measurable and transparent
Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines
Decisive, proactive and coaching attitude
Self-starter: not afraid to look for information and reach out to colleagues on all levels
Can do mentality with good problem-solving skills
Experience working on large-scale transformation programs within Philips is an advantage
