null In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive productivity and functionality related product innovation in the MR Data Acquisition System related hardware and software, ensuring product reliability, quality and industry performance. You will be leading requirement and design overview definition, technical and safety related risk management, integration approach definition and design team leadership for key system components of the MR system. The data acquisition system is responsible for the hardware and software coordinating the dynamic behavior of power electronics and receiver subsystems and communication subsystems of the magnetic resonance imaging system.
You are responsible for
Defining subsystem and component level innovation project content
Interface definition of components and the subsystem
Structuring and supporting execution of these activities in multidisciplinary teams, as leading systems engineer.
Ensuring market access for innovations by maintaining top quality technical file structure and content
Ensuring requirements for components and subsystems are complete and in time, including requirement elicitation and alignment of a broad set of stakeholders
Driving uncompromised product safety
Driving top notch product reliability
You are a part of
The MR systems engineering team is a global team responsible for translating the architectural and business needs of the business into effective and reliable system design and leading the engineering activities that bring these designs to market. The team consists of highly experienced and driven people with a passion for meaningful innovation.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
3 to 7 years of experience in technically leading roles involving analog and digital data acquisition and conditioning related electronics, cabling, EMI and in a regulated environment
Preferably experience with [1..300] MHz range RF engineering
Ability to drive modeling the reliability of integrated sets of MRI system components
Ability to drive interface definition and validation of MRI system components
Academic level of engineering education (or, e.g. experimental physics), with the ability to translate academic expertise into concrete engineering designs, leading cross functional technical teams
Ability to manage comprehensive set of engineering documentation covering a complete subsystem
Ability to deeply understand the drives of your team members and be able to constructively navigate a complex organization
Experience with regulatory audits is desirable
Experience with EMC design and compliance is desirable
Fluent in English
