FOOD SERVICE HELPER/ NON-INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE Department / Site AYAPRUN ELITNAURVIK-BETHEL
Food Service Helper 1. Prepares meals under the direction of the Cook or Kitchen Manager. 2. Serves meals at meal time. 3. Cleans cookware, equipment and facility as directed. 4. Takes care of food and supplies as directed. 5. Cleans kitchen, serving area, cafeteria and cooking utensils as directed. 6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Non-Instructional 1. Assists with the supervision of the students during lunch periods, assemblies, play periods, and on field trips. 2. Assists teacher with non-instructional classroom duties such as snack, restroom, and clothing routines. 3. Assist individual students in need of special attention. 4. Performs clerical duties. 5. Sets up and operates equipment. 6. Checks and records student attendance. 7. Collects and records lunch money. 8. Keeps bulletin boards and other classroom learning displays up to date. 9. Alerts the teacher of any problem or special information about the individual student. 10. Maintains a sense of responsibility and positive attitude toward students and fellow employees. 11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment Part-Time Foodservice Helper 4hrs day/20 hrs a wk, Non-instructional 4 hrs a day/20 hrs a week.
Salary Range 4 $18.54 4 hours Food Service / 4 hours Non-Instructional Aide. As per the LKSD / LK-NEA Negotiated Agreement
