Lockheed Martin Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) Director in Bethesda, Maryland

Description: The Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) Director is responsible for establishing and executing the corporation's SIOP process.

This role will report directly to the Operations Transformation Vice President and perform reporting at the SVP and COO level.

Key responsibilities include forecast & firm demand loads into Kinaxis, demand accuracy, demand aggregation, actionable execution and business compliance.

The selected candidate will work with our Lockheed Martin Business Areas on a regular basis, to establish and execute a standard business rhythm in alignment with Enterprise SIOP.

The SIOP Director will have a small team to include Data Analysts, and Business Area liaisons.

The Enterprise SIOP team will work with Enterprise Business Performance, Global Business Development, and Human Resources on a weekly basis to drive consistency and commonality around forecast and resource planning.

Lastly, the selected candidate will be empowered to establish the business rhythm, governance, & ConOps for Enterprise SIOP by the end of 2024.

Basic Qualifications:

Proven knowledge and expertise on SIOP process and successful execution.

Ability to lead culture change while transforming Operations.

3+ years of leadership experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Program Performance.

Extensive knowledge of Manufacturing facilities/factories and key external suppliers.

Experience working in a functional organization in partnership with the program teams.

US Citizenship is required for this role

Desired Skills:

Extensive knowledge of Lockheed Martin factories and key external suppliers.

Multi-Business Area Experience within Operations.

3+ years Kinaxis experience

Leadership in Operations (Production, Supply Chain, Quality).

3+ Years Data Analytics experience in Operations

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $180,000 - $300,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
