Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a temporary to hire position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processing, ADP Workforce Now software, and knowledge of union payroll procedures. The primary responsibility of this role is processing payroll accurately while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
Process weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly payroll accurately and timely using ADP Workforce Now software.
Handle all union-related payroll and benefits calculations accurately.
Maintain and update payroll records.
Audit and verify data entries and correct discrepancies.
Adhere to all payroll-related tax compliance regulations.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to payroll operations.
Collaborate with HR and accounting department to ensure smooth operations.
Resolve employee queries regarding payroll.
Assist in the implementation and configuration of ADP Workforce Now system.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
3+ years of payroll processing experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software.
Proven experience handling union payroll.
Excellent numerical skills with the ability to manage detailed operations.
Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws.
Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills.
Committed to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding payroll and employee information.
