Job title: Site Reliability Engineer
Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Site Reliability Engineer to be a part of its Wolfram Technology Group department. The ideal candidate will have experience in the deployment of custom applications and have a comprehensive understanding of system design.

Responsibilities
Designing the deployment of custom applications across diverse environments based on customer requirements
Devising innovative deployment solutions
Automating deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines
Integrating security standards into custom applications
Identifying and addressing issues in deployed systems
Training and monitoring IT Support Engineers in system setup and maintenance
Qualifications
Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with various AWS and Azure products
Proficiency in deploying and maintaining applications on on-premise hardware
Comprehensive understanding of system design
Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Expertise in containerization technology such as Docker
Proficiency in version control technology such as Git
Proficiency in writing efficient Linux/Unix scripts
Understanding of network principles
Expertise in securing applications with SSL
Experience in setting up and maintaining SQL and non-SQL databases
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
Salary: Dependent on location and candidate’s background and experience
Reporting to: Director of Wolfram Technical Consulting
