It has 118 students in grades PK, K-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 10 to 1.Brief Job Duties:The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

• Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the classroom or special education teacher and assist in drill and practice activities.

• Participate in required workshops by request of Building Leader, Supervisor, or Director.

• Assist in preparation of instructional materials or provide classroom management functions.

• Alerts teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.

Certification/License:Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of EducationCriminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Education: Appropriate for Ed Technician Certification LevelExperience: Experience working with studentsFor more information about Dayton School, please visitwww.daytonschool.orgDayton, Maine Community
