Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Leader, Warehousing in Bien Hoa, Vietnam

You will be part of our Operational Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.

Your Role

You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the warehouse team by directing a diverse in-house + subcontracted workforce to manage the throughput of our customer’s products + creating a safe working environment. You will achieve this by careful planning + coordination with internal a+ external stakeholders along with proactive inventory and resource management.

Your Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the overall performance of the allocated Container Freight Station (CFS) site including warehouse operations, office operations + information systems.

  • To oversee the selection, professional development, + motivation of all warehouse employees.

  • To closely monitor the performance of any sub-contractors.

  • To plan, direct + implement warehouse operations, administrative + customer service support to meet prescribed productivity + service goals.

  • To ensure storage utilization within warehouses, especially during peak seasons, is correctly managed.

  • To ensure that all internal + external health + safety requirements are understood + followed at all times.

  • To manage continuous improvement projects for site.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor Degree

  • More than 03 years in Logistics industry with having at least 03 years at similar role

  • Solid experiences of Warehousing, especially CFS operations management is a plus

  • Having growth mind-set, Process Improvement & LEAN management

  • Ability of influencing & motivating people and resource development

  • Having good leadership, high level of communication (included interpersonal skills), performance & process improvement driven, cost leadership and stakeholder management

  • Good command of English
