Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Leader, Warehousing in Bien Hoa, Vietnam
You will be part of our Operational Care Team to add your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.
Your Role
You are responsible for providing leadership + direction to the warehouse team by directing a diverse in-house + subcontracted workforce to manage the throughput of our customer’s products + creating a safe working environment. You will achieve this by careful planning + coordination with internal a+ external stakeholders along with proactive inventory and resource management.
Your Responsibilities
To be responsible for the overall performance of the allocated Container Freight Station (CFS) site including warehouse operations, office operations + information systems.
To oversee the selection, professional development, + motivation of all warehouse employees.
To closely monitor the performance of any sub-contractors.
To plan, direct + implement warehouse operations, administrative + customer service support to meet prescribed productivity + service goals.
To ensure storage utilization within warehouses, especially during peak seasons, is correctly managed.
To ensure that all internal + external health + safety requirements are understood + followed at all times.
To manage continuous improvement projects for site.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor Degree
More than 03 years in Logistics industry with having at least 03 years at similar role
Solid experiences of Warehousing, especially CFS operations management is a plus
Having growth mind-set, Process Improvement & LEAN management
Ability of influencing & motivating people and resource development
Having good leadership, high level of communication (included interpersonal skills), performance & process improvement driven, cost leadership and stakeholder management
Good command of English
