Job Title: Sandblast Operator
Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled Sandblaster to operate specialized machinery that fires high powered jets of sand at metal assemblies within a specialized sandblast room. As a Sandblaster, you'll be responsible for removing paint, grime, adhesives, rust or imperfections from the surface of large metal structures to prepare them for paint finishing. This is a highly physical role that requires a degree of stamina and upper body strength. Your responsibilities will include sandblasting metal assemblies, ensuring safety while handling parts and operating equipment to avoid any possible damage to others as well as to production. You'll also be expected to perform minor equipment maintenance.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 800 Hour(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Binghamton, New York.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing setting with exposure to sand/dust, heavy equipment, machinery, and related noise levels. You will be frequently required to walk, stand, bend, squat, and otherwise move continuously throughout your shift. You must also be capable of lifting 0-50lbs. in the proper ergonomic position.
