TEKsystems IT Operations Support 2 in Birmingham, Alabama

One of our clients who's a major competitor in their industry is looking for a level 2 support technician to join their team. This will will require local travel with a company vehicle, but also will provides experience working in a large environment and the ability to grow professionally. Additional details are below:

Description:

This position is responsible for providing excellence customer service and proactive technical expertise to facilitate the resolution of tier 2 and 3 hardware and software issues. They also need to assist with the install on of new equipment and operating systems, and upgrades to existing computer equipment. Furthermore, this individual will be working on miscellaneous request while working in a team environment to provide outstanding customer support. In this function, this position reports directly to the field IT supervisor.

Diagnosing hardware and software issues, working reviewing tickets and attempting to resolve remotely. Successful candidate will have a significant amount of leeway to schedule the work as they deem necessary. Driving is a significant component of this position. It supports numerous field locations in the birmingham area and Locations include Jefferson County and most of Shelby County.
