Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Other projects as required Requirements - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
Microsoft Excel experience
Fixed Asset Ledger experience
Command of general ledger
Foundational knowledge in month end closings
Adeptness in Annual Audited Financial Statements
Analyze Financial Statements experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports
Experience with ERP systems
Ability to work well with functional department managers
You'll be successful in this position if you have financial reporting systems proficiency
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Critical thinking skills and the ability to retain complex work directions
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Strong time management and organizational skills
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
