The Clinical Director will provide on-going supervision and training to ensure that high quality care and appropriate services are provided to all residents at MIRACLES OF A SECOND CHANCE Inc. The Clinical Director will report to the Administrator.
The Clinical Director duties include:
- Feedback regarding participation in counseling activities with all counselors
- Resident record-keeping
- Review of resident files for completion
- Conduct intake/assessments for new residents and their families.
- Therapeutic capabilities
- Ensure that each staff member complete continuing education in accordance with R9-10-703
- Recommendations for improvement
- Conduct counseling sessions.
- Referrals for psychological examinations and medication reviews as needed.
- Clinical training for all staff
- Maintain compliance with AZDHS regulations.
- Develops and implements a written training plan for BHPs, BHTs, and BHPPs.
- Ensure that a staff members first twelve (12) months of employment or contract service, training include the topics listed in the R9-10-703 and other topics identified in the written staff members training plan.
- Ensures that a staff members training is documented to include staff member name, signature, and professional credentialing or job title, date of training, and name, signature, professional credentialing or job title of the individual providing the training
Other duties as assigned be the CEO/COO/Administrator
