Description
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Leads security officers on shift. Oversees all casino security operations including gaming and non-gaming aspects. Acts as the representative of the Security Director in relations with guests and other team members. Motivates, guides, and supports team members in the proper discharge of their duties. Ensures all team members adhere to company policies as delineated in the Team Member Handbook. Assures highest standards of guest service are met at all times. Displays a thorough knowledge of all laws, regulations, Internal Control Procedures, and company policies. Remains aware of all aspects of casino operations and attentive to any area that might need intervention or assistance. In coordination with the Manager on Duty, responds to, and resolves, any guest issues including violations of law or regulation. In coordination with the Manager on Duty, responds to, and resolves, any guest issues relating to any failure or any perceived failure to deliver premium customer service. In coordination with the Manager on Duty, provides or arranges for assistance to any team member in any department who may need it. Remains knowledgeable about all company marketing and promotional efforts and communicates the pertinent information to guests. Enthusiastically interacts with guests to enhance their experience. Solicits feedback from guests and team members. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Is knowledgeable pertaining to keys accessed from Lock Box 1 level key boxes, Security key boxes, Non- Restricted Duplicate key boxes and property key box. Aware of procedures for accessing the Restricted Duplicate Key Box with the Manager on Duty. Assures that proper access and use is observed when providing dual access to Lock Box 1 level boxes, Non-Restricted Duplicate key boxes and property key boxes. Good working knowledge of slots and table games. Familiarity with marketing promotions, Food and Beverage operations, and other casino support functions. High degree of knowledge of the laws, regulations, and Internal Control Minimum Procedures governing the conduct of limited gaming in the State of Colorado. Must possess excellent communication and guest relations skills. Must be experienced and skilled in conflict resolution, leadership, and relations with outside agencies. Must exert influence to maintain a pleasant, fun, and enjoyable environment for all guests. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift. Must present a well-groomed professional appearance. High school graduate or equivalent required. College degree preferred. A minimum of two years' experience in progressively more responsible positions in security operations and management with casino operation experience preferred. A Colorado Division of Gaming Support license is required for this position.
