We are currently seeking anIT Operations and Support Analyst Ito join the Information Technology Services Division in. This position is located at State Hospital South inBlackfootIdaho. Join an innovative and collaborative Services Delivery team which assists staff and partners throughout the State of Idaho. This is a full time, permanent position located in our State Hospital South (Blackfoot) offices. This position provides excellent customer service, consultation and technical support to management and staff in resolving problems with computer systems, software, equipment and other services.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Coordinate interactions between technical staff and end-users to respond to incidents & requests.
Provide training to users on hardware and software applications.
Troubleshoot and maintain user devices and communication tools.
Will sometimes work as part of a team or independently with supervision.
Install and maintain hardware and software products.
Configure user and network equipment according to department standards.
Install, configure, and test application software packages.
Identify, evaluate, and correct hardware, software, or operations problems.
Monitor problem/change activities.
Configure, troubleshoot, replace printers and copiers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Good knowledge of computer trends, software, capabilities, and terminology.Typically gained by valid IT certificationORan applicable two-year degreeORat least two years of work experience where advising others in this area was a predominant duty of the job.

Experience providing support in the form of hands-on, telephone and remotely for Windows 10/11, multiple versions of the Microsoft Office Suite and various other software. Typically gained by at least one year of related experience, including Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems.
Experience training others, in person and by telephone. Typically gained by at least one year of related experience.
Experience managing more than one project simultaneously. Typically gained by at least one year of related experience.
