The Cigna Group Health Service Leadership Development Program (HSLDP) - Full Time Associate (On-Site) in Bloomfield, Connecticut

The Health Service Leadership Development Program (HSLDP) is a post-graduate general management leadership program that provides an extensive leadership foundation through rotational experiences within the health service space, inclusive of Cigna Healthcare (health benefits provider) and Evernorth Health Services (pharmacy, care, and benefits solutions).
Program associates attain breadth and depth of experience through three to four rotational roles across multiple lines of business and functional areas. Each rotation lasts between 18-24 months in length within a 5–7-year time frame of program tenure.

Every HSLDP Program associate’s experience is unique as roles taken during the program are informed by The Cigna Group strategy, business needs, as well as individual personal development and aspirational goals. As a result of the variety and spectrum of opportunity offered, HSLDP Program associates are distinctively positioned to attain enterprise leadership opportunities upon exiting the program.
Key tenets of the HSLDP experience include:
Client and customer-facing relationship development and management
Leadership of critical change management initiatives with cross-functional exposure and influence
Direct and indirect people leadership through project management and execution
Business case development and analysis of current and potential products and work streams to determine viability or enhancement

Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (preferred), Master of Public Health, or Master of Health Administration from a competitive program
3–6 years of professional, full-time work experience
Healthcare experience or interest through full-time employment, volunteer work, or applied education extracurricular
General management experience and demonstrates leadership potential
Worked in positions with multi-faceted functions and/or has explored different functional areas
Has gained increased responsibilities through promotions/role transitions
Formally or informally managed people, project teams, etc.,
Has made meaningful contributions to significant assignments in role(s) to date
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization
Applies innovative thinking and problem-solving skills
Endeavors to become a business leader in health service industry
Consistently leverages a global mindset and strategic approach

Work Authorization: This position is open only to individuals who are eligible for employment in the United States and who would not require visa support including H-1B or CPT/OPT/STEM, etc., now or in the future.
