Description
Do you love building solid customer relationships? This may be the position for you! Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a 6-month contract opportunity in Bloomfield, NJ.
Key Responsibilities
-Accurately process customer orders from placement to delivery, including data entry, order tracking, and coordination with logistics and warehouse teams.
-Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring a positive and professional customer experience.
-Resolve order-related issues promptly, including but not limited to, modifications, cancellations, returns, and exchanges, while maintaining clear and proactive communication with customers.
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
-Collaborate with sales, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and address any challenges that may arise.
-Monitor inventory levels and provide feedback to the procurement team to prevent stockouts.
-Generate and maintain reports on order status, backorders, delivery delays, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
-Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements
-2+ years' experience managing customer order within an ERP or CRM system
-Proven ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
-Microsoft Office knowledge required
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills
-Strong customer service and office administrative skills
-Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers
-Experience answering inbound calls and emails
-Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
