Internships take place at our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN, over a 10-12 week period. As an engineering intern at Donaldson Company, you will be given the opportunity to work on challenging projects. You will be an integral member of a collaborative engineering team with a wealth of opportunities to make an impact. Primary Responsibilities: Take initiative on projects, solve real-world problems and hone engineering development skills Impact several different projects that may include, but are not limited to alternative fuel, elements, air cleaners and more Work in a collaborative team environment, with both guidance and independent initiatives Minimum Qualifications: Current junior/3rd year (rising senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science or related field Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Experience in fluid mechanics work from either a prior internship/co-op/employment, collegiate-level fluid mechanics course work, or, CAD experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across job functions Practical hands-on experience (such as woodshop, metal shop or auto shop experience) CAD experience utilizing Creo Statistics work experience or having recently attended a statistics course Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
