Part Time UX Research Consultant
100% Remote
10-20 hours per week, estimating an average of 15 hours per week
3-6+ month engagement with opportunity to extend
Partnering with a dynamic team supporting research initiatives for multiple web experiences
Searching for someone mid-level with experience analyzing data and making recommendations
We are in search of a User Experience (UX) Researcher to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role calls for an individual adept at using various design software and conducting research to enhance user experience. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where the individual will be an integral part of our team, shaping the user experience of our products.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct user research using a variety of methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability studies.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand product vision and requirements.
• Use Atlassian Jira for effective project management and team communication.
• Implement AB Testing to compare different design versions and select the most effective one.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment to deliver high-quality work in each sprint.
• Use Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.
• Participate in API Development to improve the functionality of web applications.
• Continually refine and iterate user experience based on user feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira.
• Experience with AB Testing.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology.
• Ability to work with Ajax.
• Proven experience in User Experience (UX) Research.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with design and development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
