SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY (NRM) Wafer Photolithography Senior Process Engineer in Bloomington, Minnesota
About our group: The Photo Process Engineering team supports Seagate's Wafer Operations to manufacture recording heads used in Seagate's disk drive products. The team focuses on continuous process improvement, product quality and operational efficiencies for the Photolithography operations. About the role - you will: Support and optimize Photo manufacturing tools in the wafer cleanroom; specifically, Suss contact aligners, Nikon steppers, TEL Coat/Develop tools, SSEC Liftoff/Stripping tools. Support the fab/operational processes for Masks/Reticles used in Photo operations. Analyze Photo process data/responses and key input variables for process optimization and controls for critical photo operations. Solve manufacturing or product issues of moderate scope using critical thinking skills and analysis tools. Work with product teams to improve product design, integration, and performance. Solve product yield and rework issues. Work cross-functionally and lead teams as needed. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. About you: Effective communication skills. Initiative-taking and self-directed. Collaborator Your experience includes: Experience in wafer photolithography operations Bachelor's degree in engineering related field (i.e., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 5+ years of experience or master's degree in the same and 3+ years' experience or PhD and 0+ years' experience or equivalent experience and education. You might also have: Experience in a wafer manufacturing environment (thin-film-head, semiconductor wafer manufacturing) Experience with Photo tools; ASML, Nikon, Suss Aligner, Nikon, TEL, Masks/Reticles Ability to work with automated Wafer factory software systems; SPC, APC and MES Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data using SQL, JMP & Excel Interest developing skills in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Data Science Location: Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina, and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
