Montgomery County Community College Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator position.  The Part-time Data and Operations Coordinator assists the Registrar and Associate Registrar with projects related to the Student Information System and Degree Audit. This position requires a student---and faculty-oriented, self-starting, critical thinker with keen attention to detail. The coordinator will implement and manage curriculum updates, regularly test Ellucian Colleague updates related to Records and Registration and maintain external course equivalencies databases. The Data and Operations Coordinator will also provide administrative support to upkeep students' academic records.

Hours are Monday -- Friday 8:00am -- 1:00pm

This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexible work options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.**

 

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education/Training/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Student Information System experience required; Ellucian (Colleague) experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience working at a college or university in an academic affair, advising or registration department preferred.

     

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Passionate in presence about the importance of community college leadership.
  • Possess strong personal qualities of honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships.
