ART is currently looking for a full-time Avionics Technician. This position is located in Blytheville, AR.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Perform assigned aircraft component maintenance functions related to the repair and maintenance of aircraft structures and composite systems
  • Read and strictly follow maintenance manuals, safety manuals and other documentation involving various repairs and replacement of parts
  • Ensure that your work meets FAA and company standards for quality and safety
  • Perform other aircraft maintenance tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1 years experience at a FAA-certified repair station or similar aircraft maintenance operation as a bench mechanic performing electronic troubleshooting to component level or equivalent;
  • Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of electronic theory in the areas of digital, analog and electromechanical;
  • Must be comfortable in a shop work environment;
  • Must be able to understand and interpret schematics;
  • Must be proficient in the use of various test equipment including but not limited to oscilloscope, multi-meter and voltmeter;
  • Must be able to assist other technicians in the repair of components removed from aircraft;
  • Must be able to provide direction and technical guidance to other technicians;
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and comply with ARTs DOT drug screening program on an ongoing basis
  • Possess the minimum tools to perform aircraft maintenance
  • Be able to work regular hours; Typical shift is 7AM-4PM Monday-Friday
  • Strong ethics with a dedication to safety; and
  • Be 18 years or older and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be in Blytheville, AR area or willing to relocate.
