As a growing business within Nucor Corporation, Nucor Steel Arkansas is seeking a Senior Accountant that will be responsible for:

• Maintaining operational data and assist with various financial related projects.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and various general ledger entries.
• Create and maintain ad-hoc reporting and KPI\'s at management\'s request.
• Be involved in analyzing and reporting on raw materials and other operational data for manufacturing, safety, and quality; as well as maintaining internal control structures.
• Maintainandcontinuously improve the internal control structure.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in accounting or related business field with major course work in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of business and accounting principles and practices including business fundamentals regarding price, revenue, fixed & variable cost, margins and profits
• Computer Skills - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degreehighlydesirable
• CPAand/or public accounting experience preferred
• Experience with use of Oracle ERP financial software system
• Experience using database driven ad-hoc querying tools
• Manufacturing accounting experience
