Senior Manager, Finance will support the Corporate FP&A group in various areas including Analytics, Reporting, P&Ls, KPI metrics and Operating Efficiencies. This position requires the ability to research and provide financial and business-related analyses to assess the impact alternative strategies.
In addition, the candidate must be able to work both independently as well as within a group to create, generate and present project conclusions to management. The position reports to Director, Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead budgeting of multiple cost centers including work force management
Reporting – Monthly and other more frequent reporting on KPI metrics and financials to Finance and Senior Leadership.
Analysis - Share trends in reporting and data with leadership and assist in developing continuous improvement solutions to meet business needs.
Data Mining – Extract data from financial systems and other sources to aid in reporting and analysis
Maintain and update various reports and schedules to assist with monthly reporting requirements
Create and present data visualizations using Tableau, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.
Support preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial presentations and models for executive leadership team, board of directors, and external stakeholders
Develop a strong understanding of company operations and financial processes through exposure to various levels of the organization
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Education & Work Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance related field required. MBA, CPA or CFA preferred but not required.
Minimum of 7+ years of highly analytical experience required. A background in consulting or a similarly highly collaborative and strategy focused team environment or Six Sigma is strongly preferred.
Has a strong understanding of financial accounting terms and concepts
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge and proficiency with Essbase, D365,Hyperion Enterprise, Power BI and/or Tableau preferred
Possesses high energy level, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and adapt
Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
Ability to build effective relationships across business functions at all management levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
