Candidates must be willing to work a rotating schedule (days/evenings/nights), as well as daily and weekend overtime as needed. This job also involves physically demanding tasks. Prior to initiating employment, all candidates considered for employment will be required to participate in a testing process which includes a standardized test, structured panel interview, background check and physical/drug testing. Compensation includes a starting hourly wage of $ 29.74/hr . Candidates should possess the following capabilities and skills:
Installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment and devices
Using and maintaining hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers and drills
Repairing wiring systems
Installing electrical conduits, cables, tubing
Testing equipment, instruments and systems
Installing and maintaining electrical systems, equipment and devices
Extensive ability to test equipment, instruments and systems with electrical tools ( meters, meggers )
Extensive knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Knowledge of National Electric Code and local electric codes
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures
Moderate commercial experience, construction experience or industrial experience
Quality assurance skills
Reading and analyzing blueprints and schematics
Basic diagnosing electrical system malfunctions and failures
Performing electrical risk assessments
Assessing electrical processes and procedures
Pursuing knowledge and training on evolving practices or technology
Strong troubleshooting skills
Critical thinking skills

Lifting and carrying heavy objects
Standing, bending or crouching for long periods

Willing to work overtime and holidays when requested
Willing to work 12-hour shift rotations, and willing to work in an uncontrolled heavy industrial environment.
