Johnson Controls Technical Consultant - Electronic Security in Bogota, Colombia

A Technical Consultant in the electronic security industry provides expert advice and support to clients regarding the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of electronic security systems. This role involves working closely with clients (End users and system integrators) to understand their security needs, designing tailored solutions, and ensuring the effective deployment and integration of security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Engage with clients to assess their security requirements, execution of proof of concept, and provide expert recommendations on electronic security solutions.

System Design: Develop detailed designs for electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.

Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for installed systems

Training: Conduct training sessions for clients and their staff on the operation and maintenance of security systems.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system designs and specifications requirements.

Compliance: Ensure all security solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Implementation: Advise and support the installation and configuration of security systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience in the electronic security industry, with a strong understanding of security technologies and best practices.

Languages: Spanish (native), English (advanced), Portuguese (plus)

Experience: 5 years minimum

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent assertive communication and interpersonal skills.

In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.

Proficiency in using security design and management software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
