PagerDuty is seeking a FP&A Manager to join our Finance team! As an FP&A Manager you will take full ownership of the monthly financial forecast cycle, collaborate with the team to analyze and manage our operating results, build process improvements to increase forecast efficiency and accuracy, and prepare reporting deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. You will also leverage your knowledge of the consolidated financial statements to lead agile planning and perform strategic analyses to support capital allocation decisions. This is an exciting opportunity as this role will play a key role in coordinating with various teams across the business to build new workflows related to cash flow, M&A, and strategic partnerships and learn how to scale business processes in a fast-paced, growth environment. The ideal candidate has strong FP&A experience and the ability to make well-reasoned FP&A decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and articulate reasoning with stakeholders. We are looking for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area or Atlanta ONLY at this time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the monthly forecast and annual planning process and partner with FP&A/Accounting to understand key trends, variance drivers, and risks and opportunities

  • Prepare reporting deliverables and presentations to communicate the company’s performance and strategy to executive management and Board of Directors

  • Improve cash management through enhancing the balance sheet and cash flow forecasts and coordinating cross-functionally to inform operational decisions

  • Drive automation by providing input and collaborating to improve PagerDuty’s financial processes, models, and systems (e.g. Anaplan)

  • Challenge existing processes and identify data siloes or inconsistencies to drive improvements increasing efficiency and accuracy of forecast and reporting

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of Finance experience working at a high growth mid/large sized company, with at least 2 years in Corporate FP&A and 1+ year of experience managing cash flow

  • Deep understanding of financial statement analysis, GAAP accounting concepts, and how the financial statements are connected

  • Advanced Excel and Financial Modelling skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Anaplan and Netsuite experience

  • Ability to juggle multiple requests and prioritize effectively to deliver projects on-time consistently without compromising high standards of quality

  • Comfortable with questioning assumptions and respectfully disagreeing with stakeholders when necessary

  • Demonstrated partnership with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury, to drive scalable analyses and insights

The base salary range for this position is 120,000 - 187,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.

Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
