Your responsibilities Job Summary Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform various facilities maintenance activities. This position has been identified as "safety sensitive" by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws in the state of Washington. Job Description Available Shift: 9.30 am - 6 pm (Monday - Friday) Key Accountabilities: Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on all machinery/equipment in the facility Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job.
