Description
Robert Half is currently seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy within deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position offering a hybrid work arrangement for up to 40 hours per week.
Your main responsibility will be carrying out operational tasks related to accounts payable in a fast-paced environment, processing and paying invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and managing inquiries. Attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities and strong understanding of accounting principles are crucial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process, verify and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
Process payments to suppliers in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors to rectify any discrepancies.
Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, and payment discrepancies.
Prepare analyses of accounts and produce monthly reports.
Maintain accurate historical records.
Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
Requirements
Requirements:
3-5+ years working experience in Accounts Payable
Excellent understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
Strong time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
