EPAM Systems Director, Business Development - Financial Services in Boston, Massachusetts
We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Business Development professional to enhance our client development efforts in North America. This role requires leveraging EPAM’s extensive services portfolio to drive growth and expand our footprint in the financial services sector. Responsibilities include identifying and driving new opportunities at new as well as key existing accounts to expand market relationships. Responsibilities
Generate new business against a revenue quota, focusing on both new and existing clients in your territory; a key metric of your success
Build internal network and relationships with key stakeholders, including management, practices and account teams; get up to speed on EPAM’s history, key value propositions and experience
Develop strong knowledge of your sales territory and build proactive approach to driving new business for EPAM
Identify and develop IT modernization and digital transformation opportunities within the financial services sector
Build and maintain a robust partner network to support strategic partnership strategies
Drive beneficial prime and partnership agreements
Manage and develop a portfolio of opportunities, engaging with EPAM executives and delivery leaders to align resources and expertise with client needs
Utilize diverse data sources and personal networks to identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities
Present insights and strategies to help financial institutions achieve their strategic goals, staying informed on industry and digital trends to position EPAM effectively
Identify, articulate, orchestrate and win multi-discipline technology services deals
Collaborate with EPAM technology partner companies to win business, work with EPAM’s alliances team
Be an active team member – contribute ideas, share experiences, come up with initiatives
Qualify and drive complex RFP/RFI responses
Collaborate across EPAM eco system to effectively drive new business
Stay abreast of current events across EPAM Business Units and utilize that knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop EPAM’s selling propositions and differentiators
Requirements
Self-starter who can quickly learn in a matrixed organization, build an internal network and bring together EPAM’s world class capabilities to deliver strategic value to our clients
Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business using consultative and collaborative multi-discipline team approach within Health Insurance vertical
Good understanding of industry trends and ability to drive positive change in Financial Services industry via the latest technology solutions in Cloud, Digital, Big Data, Analytics, Core Software Engineering, Legacy Modernization, Dev Ops, Agile, Automation and more
Proven understanding of financial services trends
Strong partnership and relationship management skills, with an existing network in financial services
Leadership in organizing internal teams for value-driven executive engagements and opportunity shaping
A proactive learning mindset with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Established expertise in IT modernization, customer experience, and digital transformation
Ability to develop long term client relationships at all levels of client organizations including C Suite
Experience with evangelizing transformational ideas and building a vision for large enterprise clients, leading to real long-term value via the use of advanced software engineering and technology consulting services
Good understanding of the latest advances in software engineering and platform based technology services, from idea to delivered results
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees preferred
