Job Description

Working with the Chief of Staff, the Executive Assistant will be a strategic partner to the CEO providing high-level administrative support and assistance in all areas of the business in an effort to make them more effective in their role. You will be protective of the CEO’s time and will be able to anticipate their needs. You will be expected to handle confidential information with extreme discretion. Work will include:

  • Schedule, prepare for, and as needed attend meetings with the CEO and executive leadership team

  • Draft agendas or other preparatory information, take meeting notes, and enable follow up

  • Create presentations on behalf of CEO in Powerpoint & Google Slides

  • Arrange travel, order supplies, and complete expense reports

  • Facilities management including visitor registration, badge access, auditing and generally creating a welcoming environment for those who are working from or visiting the office.

  • Maintain records and documentation on behalf of CEO

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, from strategic calendar management to designing systems for automating common tasks

  • Plan and carry out research and/or analysis needed for various projects and initiatives

  • Partner cross-functionally with various teams to bring big projects and deliverables across the finish line

  • Partner with Chief of Staff on key initiatives as needed

  • Don’t miss a beat; you’ve got impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Thrive in roles that require excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Possess the utmost discretion around confidential and sensitive information

  • Go with the flow as priorities change, maintaining little ego and ability to adapt

  • Move urgently with a high bias for action

  • Have extensive knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Confluence

  • You’ve been in a EA role or similar role requiring heavy calendar management and email interaction in a growing startup environment

    Minimum Requirements:  

  • 2 years of experience working in a role supporting an executive (C Suite, Managing Director, etc)

  • Highly skilled in Google Workspace, Slack, MS Office, especially Powerpoint, and Zoom

  • Able to work in our Boston office 4-5 days per week

    Beneficial:

    Compensation: 

  •  $70,000-$90,000 annual salary
