Infusion Pharmacy Technician
Infusion Pharmacy Technicians are an integral part of the Pharmacy Department in the mission to support patient care and research. Our technicians prepare complex preparations to treat cancer in a state of the art clean room compliant with USP <797> and <800>.
Responsibilities:
Sterile Compounding of hazardous/non-hazardous commercial and investigational medications.
Participates in continual process improvement work flows.
Inventory management and medication tracking.
Performs various regulatory and quality control tasks.
Qualifications
High school graduate or currently enrolled in an accredited entry-level degree program for pharmacy or a related field.
Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) must be obtained within 1 year of the start date.
Prior work experience as a pharmacy technician required.
Availability to work a rotating schedule.
