Description
Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney in Boston to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor law, with a focus on representing unions, collective bargaining, and NLRB matters. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to significant legal outcomes. this is full-time in the office and may require some occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
Client Representation: Represent clients (unions and companies) in a variety of labor law matters, including but not limited to:
NLRB representation
Collective bargaining negotiations
Grievance procedures
Labor arbitrations
Union organizing campaigns
Requirements
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
3-5 years of experience in labor law
Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar
Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, including the NLRA and relevant state statutes
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel (2-3 times per month)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience representing unions in collective bargaining negotiations
Experience with NLRB representation, including unfair labor practice charges and representation elections
Experience with labor arbitration proceedings
