In this role as the Technology Major Incident Commander, you will act as an Incident Commander to drive resolution of incidents with reputational, regulatory, compliance, customer, or business impact that require an immediate coordinated response and timely communications. You will lead the resolution of complex technical issues and initiatives related to payments applications, systems, databases, and other related technical products and services. You will partner with Incident Communicator, Platform, and Business teams in driving resolution activities. You will make an impact by identifying opportunities for process improvements within technical support strategies and plans and contribute to increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex, broad impact initiatives including provision of high-level systems consultation for the technology teams
Perform system patching, upgrades, and configuration management ti ensure system stability, security, and compliance
Design, implement, and manage CICD pipelines to automate code deployments and infrastructure updates
Deploy, manage and maintain applications in OpenShift or other container orchestration
Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure system health and performance
Review and analyze complex technical challenges, as well as escalated support issues related to core business solutions that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors, such as alternatives, enhancements, periodic systems reviews, or improvements to existing systems
Consult with engineering team and production support on change design requiring solid understanding of technical process controls or standards that influence and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with technical peers, colleagues, and mid to more experienced level managers to resolve systems support issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years complex issue resolution experience
2+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with small and large business units in a large corporate environment
Desired Qualifications:
Experience managing medium technology development efforts within a major line of business – default
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management – default
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
5+ years of application production support experience
Experience facilitating meetings
Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: in a highly critical environment
Knowledge and understanding of technology infrastructure: data center, network, storage, and compute domains
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Job Expectations:

Work as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and processes.
Open to work in flexible hours, on call support in a 24x7 command center environment.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $206,100.00
