About the Center on Child Wellbeing and Trauma (CCWT) The Center on Child Wellbeing and Trauma (CCWT), a division of the Office of the Child Advocate, supports child-serving organizations and systems in Massachusetts in becoming trauma-informed and responsive through trainings, technicalassistance, communities of practice, and coaching. Child Wellbeing and Trauma – A resource for child-serving organizations (childwellbeingandtrauma.org) Technical Assistance Manager Under the direction of theCCWTDeputy Director,the Technical Assistance Manager oversees the delivery of training and technicalassistanceprograms for state agencies and providers that work with children and families. This role involves providing guidance, support, andexpertiseto program staff, partners, and stakeholders to enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of state agencies and providers becoming more trauma-informed and responsive. This work includes supervision of Technical Assistance Specialists. * In partnership with the Deputy Director, the Technical Assistance Managerwillmanage day-to-daylogisticsof training and technicalassistancedevelopment and delivery * Create, organize, plan, and present onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees and partners * Evaluate the efficacy of trainings and support coordination of training needs * Maintain knowledge of latest trends and best practices in adult learning, training, and curriculum design * Collaborate with instructional designers and content developers to design and deliver training materials, toolkits, and learning activities * Conduct trainings and technicalassistancesessions with partners * Prepare and review agency plans toward becoming more trauma responsive and contribute feedback to full CCWT workplan * Responsible for oversight of Technical Assistance Specialists * Design, oversee, and manage training and technicalassistanceof curriculum * Develop presentation materials to provide training and technicalassistance * Under direction of Deputy Director, support recruitment and onboarding of new provider organizations and state agency partners * Proactively address operational issues and collaborate with team members to solve problems quickly and thoughtfully * Manage assessment and technicalassistancework including supporting agencies with all aspects of the CCWT assessment process * Establish andmaintainproductive collegial relationships with provider organizations and state agencies * Perform other related duties as needed * Experience managing diverse teams * Knowledge of childhood trauma/ACES/positive childhood experiences and resilience * Ability to develop and present training content to various interdisciplinary audiences * Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or other software * Experience in project management * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Minimum Entry Requirements: * A. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute of higher education in public policy, human services, or socialwork; * B.Seven (7) years of full-time or equivalent part-time professional,supervisoryor managerial experience in public policy, human services, or social work, of which * C.at least one (1) year must have been in a project management, supervisory,or managerial capacity,or * D. any equivalent combination of the required experience andthesesubstitutions: * o Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three (3) years of the required (B) experience o Doctorate degree in a related field may be substituted for four (4) years of the required (B) experience Job: Unclassified* *Organization: Office of the Child Advocate *Title: *Technical Assistance Manager Location: Massachusetts-Boston-1 Ashburton Place Requisition ID: 240008AT
