Actalent Analytical Chemist - Development/Validation in Boulder, Colorado

Job Title: Analytical ChemistJob Description

As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for running HPLC, developing new methods, and participating in the development of new processes by applying analytical skills and training. You will support manufacturing and regulatory needs by facilitating and supporting analytical technology transfers. You will also participate in the development of key technologies and transfer strategies suitable for a manufacturing environment. Your role includes planning and formulating aspects of analytical research and development proposals, developing, implementing, and validating analytical methods and procedures, keeping accurate records, and developing a comprehensive understanding of internal, corporate, and ICH stability guidelines. Additionally, you will participate in manufacturing site activities, analyze batches of drug substance, intermediates, and raw materials, and manage the generation and accumulation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This position requires flexibility to work different hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the production/validation schedule.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Boulder, Colorado.

Work Environment

You will be part of a dynamic project team of 3-5 people, within a larger cross-functional team of 18 members. The work environment involves handling multiple projects simultaneously which can range from 1 month to multiple years. The role requires being onsite every day, as 80% of your time will be spent working in the lab. Training will be provided for approximately one month. This position is contracted with no guarantee of extension past 6 months.
